Goodbye Condo! (Before and After Photos)

All photos of our condo in this post were taken by my talented real estate photographer (and personal friend) Thea Menagh.  Thanks Thea, for your beautiful work!
Keep reading:  pictures of the new mess house will be posted asap but first we wanted to look back at our condo!

Well, we have 24 hours until the move.  The packing has been brutal but it was worthwhile because we have been waiting for this day for three long years!  We finally own our own little piece of land in the city of Toronto.

Thank you to everyone who reads this blog!  I think we're just feeling grateful to the world right now but I am very appreciative of everyone who is following along on our journey.  We cannot wait to transform our little house in the months and years to come.

We are excited to share with you our first pictures of the new house (which will eventually become "before" pictures) but first, we thought we'd take a quick look back at the condo we just left.

Luckily, Thea took tons of photos for us to keep for posterity.  Now we get to share them with you.  Here's a brief tour of our old condo in photos:

People always ask what our condo looked like before we moved in.  I finally found asked Corey to find some old photos!  Are you ready?  I'll try to find similar angles.  I'm actually a little nervous since most of our best friends haven't even seen the "before" version of our condo... We were probably too ashamed to have them over at the time.  Oh well, time to spill our secrets:

Wow, right?  While we upgraded the floors, gutted the kitchen and painted, it was still a relatively small renovation.  Doesn't the place look bigger with all of our furniture in it?  Remind me of that when I mention that our house looks small.

Now that we have said goodbye to the condo, we can focus on the future.  One of my next posts will contain photos of our new/old house!
