I am working with a client who may be considering a move to a smaller space in a hip neighbourhood. While some people can't imagine living in a smaller space, I can see how it can be freeing!
While even the smallest Toronto studios are not as small as some of the tiny NYC apartments that we read about, most small spaces could benefit from some clever design solutions. Resource Furniture goes one step further because I think some of these ideas are brilliant!
This video shows some of their amazing designs. My personal favourites are shown at 0:55, 3:14 and 5:22. In fact, I would consider using the bed/desk in a child's room in our house so that there's more floor space for play!
